Decking Boards
Each decking board type and dimension adds a different characteristic to the finished product. Slimmer hardwood boards are an attractive option for older villa's and heritage style designs. Composite options offer lower maintenance and long lasting results, and are better suited to applications closer to ground level due to their rot resistant properties. Vitex, purple heart, garapa and kwila are all hard wearing options that are naturally durable and provide a premium finish. Wide board pine is an economic option for surfacing large areas quickly and sustainably. And of course there is personal preference, talk to us about how your ideal deck might come together in time for summer.
Deck Types
Decks are a great way to extend the living space of your home, and there is no better feeling than taking coffee on the deck, and enjoying the sun on a beautiful morning. We have all sorts of tricks for making it blend with the architecture of your home, whether its a flush-to-the-lawn finish or requires fall protection, we can work with you to make it feel seamless. We offer timber and aluminium framed deck options depending on the application.
We love the systematic approach to building a deck, and you’ll enjoy watching it all come together as much as we do. From set out to screw off, our deck builders are craftsmen and pride themselves on workmanship. We work with Architects and Engineers to provide deck design for projects outside of schedule 1 works. If you already have a design, we are able to provide construction management services and organise LBP sign off.
